the lens itself is fine, the glass part, i just have fingerprints on the lens, where you hold it on an SLR, can i just use rubbing alcohol or what?

can I use my canon rebel SLR lens to Nikon d80 DSLR?

I had a Canon Rebel 2000 SLR with 28-80mm lens. I want to buy a nikon D80 DSLR and can I use the above lens if I just buy the body only?.
Is this a good fit and compatible.

Thanks for advice.
If not, Can I buy a Canon DSLR just the body and use this lens?

can a nikon slr 35mm lens be used on a nikon digital camera?

i have a nikon n55 film slr and i'm looking to buy a nikon d70 or d80. i have two lenses, one of which is a 70-200mm (af). both the n55 and d70/80 use a 'g' lens mount but i'm wondering if there are disadvantages to using a film lens on a digital camera. thanks in advance!

1st slr user buying the nikon D90 what would be betternikon 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6G ED AF-S DX Zoom lens or nikon 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 ED D lens also does the higher the number 200,300 mean the farther the distance?
