Need help with a Nikon D40 digital camera and a wide angle lens?

I have a nikon D40 digital camera and bought a wide angle lens. I don't know a lot about photography, I had to use this kind of camera for a job. My photos are supposed to be set for the widest angle for the lens (24mm). Is there a way to set this up using my camera menu? Help! Thanks.

What lens should i get for my Nikon D40?

I am researching lenses to buy for my nikon D40. I currently just have the one that it came with when i bought the camera. I don't know much about photography itself, but i would like to add another lens to create different photos. Most of the photos i take are of children, families and couples. Any suggestions?

What is the best quality lens for Nikon d70?

I have the original lens that comes with the nikon d70, but I’m getting a new one and I would like to know which is the best? Do lenses really affect the pixels? I really want more professional looking photos. Any tips on which lens I should go for would be greatly appreciated.
