I am researching lenses to buy for my nikon D40. I currently just have the one that it came with when i bought the camera. I don't know much about photography itself, but i would like to add another lens to create different photos. Most of the photos i take are of children, families and couples. Any suggestions?
I want to get back into photography and I just bought a nikon D60. I am looking for a good yet affordable wide angle lens but there are so many out there my head is spinning. Does anybody have advice on where to look.

My main concern is sharpness, so I guess I’m looking for shutter speed? I’m new to photography (photojournalism student) and I just got a nikon D200. I have an 18-55mm kit lens and a 55-200 VR zoom, but I’m looking to buy one more for now that will take really SHARP shots even if the subject is moving. Preferably inside, as well, without flash.
Suggestions?
