I need the serial number to extend my warranty an extra 4 years, but can not any numbers printed on the lens that fit the 8 digit criteria. Does anyone know where the serial number is located on the lens?
I was wondering if anybody has done it, and is it worth it? Is it really a pain to have to go through and set all the manual controls and stuff? I would probably be buying a cheap adapter around since I couldn't afford any of the expensive stuff with the microchips and things.
I have a nikon D40 digital camera and bought a wide angle lens. I don't know a lot about photography, I had to use this kind of camera for a job. My photos are supposed to be set for the widest angle for the lens (24mm). Is there a way to set this up using my camera menu? Help! Thanks.
Currently i have a nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom lens. Can i buy a faster lense or is the speed based on the body?
I probably didn't make this clear. But what i mean is that i want a lense that can auto focus faster than what i have now.
