I need the serial number to extend my warranty an extra 4 years, but can not any numbers printed on the lens that fit the 8 digit criteria. Does anyone know where the serial number is located on the lens?

Friday, May 1st, 2009I was wondering if anybody has done it, and is it worth it? Is it really a pain to have to go through and set all the manual controls and stuff? I would probably be buying a cheap adapter around since I couldn't afford any of the expensive stuff with the microchips and things.
